A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free of cost (within a certain limit). We will migrate your site(s) to our high–end cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that changing web hosting providers can result in lost data and undesired network downtime. This is the reason why we will do all that for you for free!We have proficient administrators whose principal task is to ensure that your site functions exactly as it did on your former hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–built websites, as well as websites that are based on well–known apps like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are a lot of variables to consider – the total amount of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do try to perform all web site migrations in a 48–hour time period. Smaller web sites are transferred much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We will require the login details for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the website’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose exactly the same info you have given to your current web hosting provider. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate information is tackled.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. Once the transfer is completed, we’ll make sure that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to informing you that the transfer is completed. After that, we will explain to you how to transfer the domain to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS records.

A: No. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your site from any hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform as long as we can receive access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only web sites that we are unable to transfer are those based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
